Poor Huey. I've been so busy lately, he's been overlooked.
Ofcourse; I'm sure he's not upset about this fact. I come everyday, feed him, check his rugs, apply Hoof Aid to his bad hoof, and leave again. Must be every horses idea of paradise!! He has a paddock buddy he loves, has neighbours on 3 sides of the bordering fences, and everything else that a pony of leisure should have.
Tell me, how do WE as adults get a life this good? Someone to pay all our bills, attend to all our needs, bring the food, and any medication we need, clean up after us, then go away? I want to be one of my horses!
Huey's teeth were done today. The Vet said the worst he had was "ramps" on the front. Instead of flat, they sloped. All fixed now, and he was well behaved. He's the picture of health right now. Excellent weight, fantastic short SOFT coat, alert and bright eyes. I seriously can't get over how soft his coat is. His hoof is getting so very close to being grown out. I need to take some pics in the next few days to add to the photo diary progress that was his hoof.
Ah to have the life of Huey-monster. How sweet it would be.
