Huey is still enjoying a life of leisure.
This update is mainly to document the fact he had his 2 in 1 Tetanus/Strangles booster today. I thought I would kill two birds with one stone, seeing as Red was being patched up by the Vet and had his boosters.
I'll update in more detail in the next few days, as I'd like to conduct another freelunge session with him, this time with the lunge roller back on. See how we go!
Given he's getting to be a big fat porker now, he certainly needs the workout. He's not lame at all, and his hoof is continuing to grow at a fantastic rate. It's looking good for the Huey-Monster!

Yikes, this is the one with the blown out hoof, right? I saw the most recent picture and it looks like its getting stronger by the day.
Yep - that's him.
He came to me with a very cracked, very played hoof. When I got the farrier out, we discovered a very nasty case of seedy toe and had to remove a large portion of his hoof to get rid of it ...
I'd say he has less than an inch to grow out now... The rate of growth has been phenomenal - the increased dosage of biotin supplement coupled with the Hoof Aid ointment is a great combo!
